I’ve been wiping bums every day for over two and a half years. Now that I am a mom of three under three all still in diapers, all with some level of sensitivity, I have seen just about everything.
After going through countless diapers, wipes and creams. Today I am sharing a simple post about products we currently are using on our precious babes, because cleanliness and comfort are important to us.
Seventh Generation Diapers • “Everything you want in a diaper – and nothing you don’t.” You will not find any fragrances, latex, petroleum-based lotions or chlorine processing. With our boys if it’s the appropriate size we’ve haven’t experienced any leaks. They haven’t had a rash from being in the diaper, but have from what they might have eaten that day.
Honest Healing Balm • A salve that you can use from head to toe. It’s wonderful to use on your babes and even yourself. It’s soothes irritated skin, scrapes, diaper rashes and even dry cracked hands.
Butt Paste • When our boys have a diaper rash that is on the verge of turning into sores, I use a generous about of this cream to act as a protectant. Especially during nap or through the nap to keep moisture away from effected area.
Cornstarch • Sometimes I sprinkle cornstarch over our babes bums. A Doctor once suggested to make a paste by mixing petroleum jelly and cornstarch together. But I used our Honest Healing Balm and that works wonders.
Tubby Todd Bath Co. Baby Fresh Spray • This spray is purely amazing. All natural, with plant extracts of almond, orange, lime, and peppermint. Can be used to freshen babies bottoms and even neckline after good milk spit up. I even use it on my chest once in a while so I don’t smell like milk either! Smells great while protecting and freshening your babes skin.
Seventh Generation Wipes • These are at the top of the list for all our baby wipe needs. Soft on babies bum and make for a easy clean up. Hypoallergenic, free of dyes, fragrances, parabens and phthalates.
Every baby and household needs are different. Hope you find the right fit for you and your little one!
