I met my husband seven years ago and now been married just over five years. In that time period we have experienced a lot together. Through the bad times and the good, he has been my rock.
It is so crazy to think back on the night we first met and the months that followed. The day we got married just the two of us standing in front of a judge; excited, nervous out of our minds yet so in love. Now we have three wonderful young boys, a family. We are really building that life we talked about years ago. Together, him and I.
I am so proud of us. Looking forward to the future and what God has in store for us. Especially the near near future when he returns home from his six month deployment! And as soon as he is home safe and sound I would be just fine if time stood still for just a little while. I certainly love to enjoy our present life, because him and our boys make it pretty amazing. I would choose him time after time.
Realize deeply that the present moment is all you ever have – Eckhart Tolle
Thankful to have these stunning timepieces, so fitting for our fifth year of marriage- anniversary gift this year is wood! The symbolism behind this is that by the fifth year of marriage, it is said that the couple is developing strong, deep roots like a venerable oak tree, gaining understanding from the mistakes of the first five years. The hope is that they have learned the most important lesson of all and the secret to a successful marriage: forgiveness.
I love that the Frankie series that JORD Wood Watches offers is so versatile, I chose the Koa and Ash and Ebony and Gold for my husband. You can find them here and here. The wood has beautiful texture, details are flawless and unique!

And in the end, time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters.
