We take photographs as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone
— Katie Thurmes, The Stories We Tell
My first blog post of the year! While most are busy organizing and planning to chase their dreams this New Year I am taking some time to reflect back on some moments from 2017.
Last month I featured my fine art piece from Parabo Presson Instagram. I wanted to take some time to share how I am savoring life with our prints from Parabo. My Photography journey has not only been a fantastic outlet but has become very therapeutic for me. And to see them printed brings me so much joy!
2017 I can say I was pretty decent with documenting the little things and big moments in our life through photography but I wanted to go further. Life is moving so swiftly, it’s important for me to record this season from my perspective. Because I know with time I’ll forget the little details in the stories these photographs tells.
I grabbed a journal I had yet to use and started to tape some prints to the pages. All the memories began to flood in. Below each picture I’ll jot down a note to my boys, caption or just a memory of what I felt in that moment or time.
I’ll be making my way back to Parabo Pressevery quarter to print and then journal in this book through 2018!
Parabo is affordable, reliable and offers fun accessories like tape and various hanging options!
Why shoot thousands of photos every year to not really savor some by printing them?
Use code GREEN for 10$ off any print from now until the end of January!
ALSO – I just received my first Parabo Box, and I am so impressed! Amazing packaging, fun home decor pieces we will actually use. Looking forward to next months box already.
